I was in 1st Grade. Ms. Nahoum was my teacher, it was my 2nd year of Spanish immersion, and school happened at El Rincon Elementary in Culver City.
I got dropped off for school early because my parents had to work, there were other kids in the same predicament so we would wait around outside the room. One morning there, I was looking in one direction and another kid came up behind me and bit me on the ass cheek! He was actually kneeling down and snuck up and bit me on the ass!
I was revulsed and said something like 'what are you doing?'. I was freaked out so after going off on him I just tried to stay away. He knew he fucked up and was apologizing and saying that his dad did that when they were playing; apparently it was new to him that this wasn't normal social behavior.
I told one of my friends about it, and once it was decided that I did no wrong, we proceeded to make fun of him.
At that time, there was a commercial for some toy 'off road' type cars that probably played a lot during Gi-Joe:

The jingle in the commercial was "Rough Riders, 4 by 4, you can try to stop 'em.."
So he became "Butt Biter, 4 by 4..."
I can't say for sure which one of us came up with that one, but what a gem.
This caught on as the story got out, and lasted for some time.
Childhood can be cruel, indeed....
